Monarch Painting owner, Alonzo Rodriguez, is driven by his endeavor to achieve perfection. He began his painting career in early adulthood, working various painting, construction and cabinetry positions. Early on, he noticed a major deficiency within the remodeling industry. While others frequently "cut corners" to save on time and labor- Alonzo found enjoyment in the detail work, client's stories and their satisfaction. When Monarch Painting was in its infancy, Alonzo decided to implement his blue tape method. After the completion of each project, he hand's each client a role of blue tape- where they can mark anything they want corrected or changed. When asked, "won't that just create more work for you?", Alonzo simply replied "It's not more work-it's my work and my commitment to excellence."
